Didactics
Dedicated residency-wide didactic sessions are held weekly on Wednesday afternoons, providing residents with four hours of protected educational time. During these sessions, residents, faculty, ancillary staff, and specialists prepare both hands-on workshops and interactive lecture-based presentations. Residents also have dedicated infectious disease didactic rounds and radiology didactic rounds weekly with aims to provide real-time learning opportunities on residents challenging cases and associated clinical questions. In your residency, you will participate in Osteopathic Grand Rounds, Pediatric Grand Rounds, and Primary Care Grand Rounds, which will provide additional educational opportunities. Family Medicine and Maternal Health Section Meetings with faculty-led journal clubs provide another regular educational opportunity.
