We provide qualified interpreters to our patients, so that all persons, regardless of their ability to communicate verbally or in English, are provided equal access to health care offered by Northern Light Health.
Communication is the key to high quality care, and we are committed to ensuring that our patients and providers have the tools necessary to communicate effectively.
Interpretive Services are provided at no cost to the patient, using either in-person or over-the-phone interpreters to meet the need in the most timely and effective manner.
We have worked closely with the community to support the ongoing testing and training of medical interpreters, and contract with outside agencies to provide the best interpretive services to our patients.
