Vice President, Finance, Northern Light Acadia Hospital
Amy Kearns, MBA, is the vice president of Finance for Northern Light Acadia Hospital.
In her role, Amy is responsible for the day-to-day financial operational activities of Acadia Hospital and Acadia Healthcare. She also oversees support teams for outpatient services and works with leadership and other departments to implement best practices throughout the organization.
She is passionate about empowering and mentoring other team members as well as creating a positive patient experience for our patients.
Amy's community involvement includes service as vice chair, Board of Directors, for Changing Seasons Federal Credit Union, and Chapter VP of Engagement, of the Bangor-Waterville Chapter of Institute of Management Accountants. She also volunteers her time as a middle school field hockey coach for the Brewer, Maine school department.
Amy first joined Acadia Hospital in 2005 as an outpatient support specialist for our Addiction Care services. Through the years she has held a variety of positions with Acadia, including administrative assistant to the CFO, financial analyst, manager of Financial Analytics, and director of Business Services. In July 2022, she assumed the role of vice president of Finance.
