Salary and Benefits

2024-2025 Salaries: 

• PGY 1 - $69,405.13
• PGY 2 - $72,966.97
• PGY 3 - $76,342.98
• PGY 4 - $81,456.79

Covered Expenses

• State medical licensure fee
• USMLE or NBOME exam fees
• Northern Light Acadia and Eastern Maine Medical Center sponsored courses
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Liability insurance

• Five (5) CME days per year for conferences

Cannot be applied to hardware such as technology, or medical equipment such as stethoscopes

Planned and Unplanned Time Away From Work

• Vacations & Personal Days: Twenty (20) of PTO (Paid Time Off) per year. This is expected to be three weeks of vacation and five personal days per year. 
• Per policy, these must be scheduled and approved by the Scheduling Coordinator and the director of the Acadia Psychiatry Residency Program.
