Let's Get Practical

Thursday, March 14, 2024

You know those quart-size boxes of broth or stock you use in everything from soups to sauces? You can get some extra mileage out of those boxes by re-filling them with water and freezing them. Next time you’re loading up the cooler for a road trip or a picnic, throw a couple of those homemade ice packs in and you’re good to go.

The downstream impact of everything we do is kind of amazing. Just like how not flossing your teeth can lead to an overproduction of bacteria in your mouth which can lead to a state of chronic inflammation which can contribute to heart disease, filling up an empty broth box with water has a nice ripple effect on your wallet and the environment and maybe more. Who knows what else might register the impact of a re-purposed broth box! Butterflies in Brazil? The season 2 plot line of The Bear? The truth of our interconnection is an unknown infinite.

Yours, from broth to metaphysics,
