Organizations partner to distribute food in Pittsfield

Kleinschmidt, Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital, and Good Shepherd Food Bank were proud to collaborate on a community drive-up food distribution event on February 29. They distributed 225 bags filled with fresh fruits, vegetables, and various non-perishable items. Extra food items were donated to the food pantry at Warsaw School Food Pantry. Braving the frigid temps and wind, staff volunteers from Kleinschmidt and Sebasticook Valley Hospital helped pack the bags and load them into recipients’ cars. Thank you to the volunteers for their time, enthusiasm, and community spirit! Community members who came by expressed sincere gratitude.
