Update: Unplanned Network Downtime

As we have already shared, yesterday our computer monitoring systems revealed that some of our computer servers had been compromised. None of the affected servers contain patient information, however out of an abundance of caution we made the decision to take our patient records systems offline and use downtime procedures while we investigate what happened and implement any remedial measures.
Our teams have worked around the clock this weekend to conduct a thorough review of our servers and ensure they are in working order. We are continuing this work throughout the night and anticipate our electronic medical records will be back online during the day tomorrow. This is a big job and our focus as always is patient safety and privacy.


  • Our hospitals remain open and ready to care for our patients, and most of our services continue uninterrupted.

  • Unless you have been contacted directly, any appointments you have are still scheduled - your care team will be ready to see you as planned. 

  • We expect call volumes to be higher than normal, and we are doing our best to answer calls as quickly as we can.
