Extra Attention Placed on Concussion Protocols

Date: 02/19/2019

A concussion is a traumatic brain injury caused by a bump, blow, or jold to the head or by a hit to the body that causes the head and brain to move rapidly back and forth.

The effects of a concussion can vary in both length and intensity. If there is a loss of consciousness, vomiting after a fall, or just really bad headaches, it's crucial to seek emergency medical attention immediately.

If you're playing contact sports, downhill skiing or snowmobiling, it's important to wear the proper equipment and use extra caution.
