Northern Light Neurology welcomes three new physicians.

We are very excited to welcome three new physicians to the Northern Light Neurology team. Ch. Hassan Ali, MD; Avirag Goswami, MD; and Ahatjon Juraboev, MD specialize in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the nervous system, which includes the brain, spinal cord, and nerves.

Ch. Hassan Ali, MD earned his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Pakistan. He completed a Neurology residency at JFK University Medical Center – Hackensack Meridian Health in Edison, New Jersey. 

Avirag Goswami, MD earned his medical degree from Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital. He completed residencies in Internal Medicine and Neurology at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia; a Vascular Neurology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston; and is certified by the American Association of Neurology, American Medical Association, and the Indian Medical Association.

Dr. Goswami specializes in treating patients with cerebral vascular disorders and ischemic strokes – which occurs when a blood clot blocks an artery leading to the brain.

In his time outside of work, Dr. Goswami enjoys playing chess, singing, cooking, and traveling – he’s even been known to take first place in chess and singing competitions.

Ahatjon Juraboev, MD earned his medical degree from Second Tashkent State Medical Institute in Uzbekistan followed by a Master of Public Health degree from The Braun School of Public Health, Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel. He completed a Neurology residency at State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn.

Dr. Juraboev specializes in headache medicine.
