  • Work alongside 8 physicians, 2 certified nurse midwives, 2 nurse practitioners, and skilled support staff
  • Provide routine and high-risk obstetric and gynecologic services to a patient population of approximately 500,000. We are the referral center for two-thirds of Maine and many patients travel long distances to deliver at our hospital.
  • Strongly supported robotic surgery program with four DaVinci Xi robots
  • Our group performs approximately 1,100 of the 1,600 deliveries per year in Bangor.

Provide long term comprehensive care for children of all ages, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. Examine patients, order diagnostic tests, make diagnoses and prescribe treatments for patients with a wide variety of illnesses that can occur in any of the body systems. Counsel patients and their families on how to manage and best approach their illnesses. Provide patients with wellness and disease prevention goals and management of mental health problems and substance abuse. This position performs the duties normally associated with a primary care family medicine physician. Supervise three nurse practitioners.

Education and Experience: Must have MD, DO, or foreign degree equivalent; 36-month residency in internal medicine, family medicine, or related; and a Maine Medical License or eligible.
