Integrated Behavioral Health

IBH-intro-image-group-around-table-1.jpgMedical and behavioral health factors are important parts of a person’s overall health. Mercy’s integrated behavioral health services are made available to all current Northern Light Mercy Primary Care and Pediatric patients. If you are not currently a Mercy primary care patient and wish to establish care, you can explore our locations here.

Our integrated behavioral health team will collaborate with you and your Mercy primary care provider to address issues identified during office visits. The team works with patients to address mental health concerns and behaviors that effect physical health. Our behavioral health clinicians provide short-term, solution-focused interventions and help connect patients to community supports when more intensive services are needed.

The integrated team approach offers a variety of benefits, including better coordination of care and communication, while working toward one set of overall health goals set by the patient, resulting in better health for the whole person.
