Our quick response stroke team is available around the clock to evaluate patients as soon as possible if they may be exhibiting stroke symptoms. We can quickly diagnose and treat patients with strokes 24 hours a day. We partner with emergency medical responders across the state, as well as LifeFlight of Maine to ensure that when a patient is having a stroke, we are ready to care for them at our emergency facilities.
As part of our mission of caring for Mainers, we provide community education aimed at teaching individuals how to prevent stroke, recognize its signs and symptoms, and the importance of prompt medical attention.
