An arm lift (brachiaplasty) reshapes the under portion of the upper arms from the underarm to the elbow by removing the excess skin and fat. This excess skin is sometimes referred to as “bat wings” that often deters patients from wearing short sleeve or sleeveless shirts because of the appearance. An arm lift will tighten and smooth the skin in the upper arm, creating a more toned, contoured look.
