Body Contouring

Are you getting back to your optimal you? Have you had substantial weight loss and want to eliminate excess skin? Body contouring may be just what you’re looking for.

Body contouring refers to a series of procedures that reduces and/or eliminates excess skin and fat that remains after considerable weight loss. The goal of body contouring is to improve the shape and tone of your body creating a more proportional look. Body contouring is considered the final phase of your weight loss experience.

An arm lift (brachiaplasty) reshapes the under portion of the upper arms from the underarm to the elbow by removing the excess skin and fat. This excess skin is sometimes referred to as “bat wings” that often deters patients from wearing short sleeve or sleeveless shirts because of the appearance. An arm lift will tighten and smooth the skin in the upper arm, creating a more toned, contoured look.

A thigh lift reshapes the inner and/or outer thighs by removing excess skin and fat, creating a smoother more contoured thigh. Liposuction may be used in conjunction with a thigh lift.
