A Holistic Approach to Healing

Our Adult Outpatient Group Therapy program offers a holistic approach to wellbeing, addressing a range of emotional and mental health needs. Whether you're seeking to manage anxiety, cope with depression, process trauma, or develop healthier coping strategies, our therapy groups provide a nurturing environment to explore these areas and more.

Flexible and Supportive Environment

We recognize that healing is a personal journey, and our Adult Outpatient Therapy Groups are designed to accommodate your unique needs. With our "rolling admission" policy, you can join a group at any time. Additionally, our "open-ended" approach means that you can participate in the groups for as long as it is therapeutically beneficial for you. We offer a range of therapy groups that cater to different areas of focus, allowing you to choose the group that aligns with your personal journey.

Guided by Expert Facilitators

Our therapy groups are led by experienced and compassionate facilitators who are dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for your growth. Through guided discussions, evidence-based practices, and the power of shared experiences, you'll find a space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and aspirations.

A Variety of Therapy Groups

At Northern Light Behavioral Health, we offer a diverse range of therapy groups to address various areas of healing and growth. We offer both in-person and online group therapy sessions. We also offer limited-session group therapy as well as ongoing outpatient therapy.

Clinicians will make group recommendations during your intake based on where they feel you would get the most benefit. You will meet with an assigned individual therapist three times during your admission to review your treatment plan and receive brief therapy to help you with your goals.

The limited-session groups run up to 12 weeks. You need to stay in the same group for the scheduled duration. There can be exceptions which will be reviewed on an individual basis. Clients can only attend one group per day and not on the same day as individual therapy or medication management within Northern Light Health.

Please understand that many of our groups have waiting lists for others in need. If you miss three or more sessions as a "no show", then this may result in a discharge from the group.

Anger Management Group Therapy

While all emotions serve adaptive purposes, anger can be particularly debilitating. In this group we learn how to identify anger as it arises and the coping skills to help us navigate this emotion in healthy ways. We also learn what causes anger as well as how to consider the potential consequences of anger driven behavior.

Anger is a natural emotion, but learning how to manage and express it in a healthy way is essential for personal wellbeing and positive relationships. Our Anger Management Group Therapy provides a safe and supportive environment where you can explore the root causes of anger, learn effective strategies for managing it, and discover new ways to respond to challenging situations.

Led by experienced facilitators, our group therapy sessions focus on helping you understand the underlying triggers of anger and providing you with tools to channel that energy into constructive expression. Through guided discussions, role-playing, and interactive exercises, you'll develop the skills needed to break free from the cycle of anger and create more positive interactions in your life.

Join a community of individuals who, like you, are looking to overcome the challenges of anger and create positive change in their lives. Our Anger Management Group Therapy sessions offer a space for open dialogue, shared experiences, and mutual support, allowing you to connect with others who understand your struggles and aspirations.

This is your opportunity to gain valuable insights, tools, and techniques that can lead to healthier relationships and a more balanced emotional state.

Anger doesn't have to control your life. Through the Anger Management Group Therapy, you'll gain the skills and self-awareness needed to transform anger into a force for positive change. Take the first step toward a healthier, more peaceful future by joining our group therapy sessions.
