Behavioral Medicine

Behavioral Medicine is a multidisciplinary field concerned with the association between behavior and health. The primary aim is to restore and enhance function to optimize quality of life regardless of the health challenge. Regardless of what health challenges you are facing, we work with you to make changes that improve your quality-of-life. 

  • Areas of research and clinical practice include chronic illness (cancer, multiple sclerosis, heart disease, etc.), pain, symptom management, disease prevention and wellness.

  • We use evidence-based (research validated) cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other methods to promote health behavior change.
