Physician Assistant joins Clinton Practice

Date: 01/29/2025

Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital is pleased to welcome Linnea Harrold, PA-C, certified physician assistant, to our team. Linnea will be providing primary care and family medicine for all ages at Northern Light Primary Care in Clinton, which includes routine wellness exams, sports physicals, chronic disease maintenance, acute/sick visits, and in-office procedures.

Linnea completed her undergraduate degree from the College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine and physician assistant (PA) degree at Northeastern University PA Program in Boston, Massachusetts. She is board-certified from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

“I deeply value physical and mental health – few things are more precious. It is an honor to work with patients on their personal health journeys as they work to improve, maintain, or regain their health. It is my job to be a companion and guide on the patient’s journey and to give enough information so the patient can make their own decisions about what is right for them. It is the patient’s role to give honest feedback and hopefully be open to trying new things. Through this process, the patient is empowered to make changes in their life, try new treatments, or connect with specialist to improve their health,” shares Linnea. “Medicine is becoming increasingly complex, and we as a healthcare team need patients to be their own advocates. Only the patient knows what challenges and successes they experience, and what it is like to live in their own skin. We need the patient’s help to prevent disease and to accurately diagnose and treat conditions that already exist.”

Welcoming new patients, Linnea looks forward to connecting with the community. To schedule an appointment, please call the office at 207.426.0976.
