Free community drive-up food event on November 21

A free Drive-Up Food Event is being held on Friday, November 21 at 8:15 am while supplies last at the Dow Building Parking Lot on the Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital campus at 425 North Main Street, Pittsfield. This event provides free pre-bagged food and produce (one bag distributed per car).

This community event brings together volunteers from Sebasticook Valley Hospital, Kleinschmidt, and Danforth’s Down Home Supermarket. It was made possible through funds raised at the spring Pittsfield Business Consortium Walk for Hunger, attended by Sebasticook Valley Hospital, Kleinschmidt, United Insurance, and Danforth’s employees.

Businesses in the community that would like to sponsor or volunteer at a future Drive-Up Food Event or participate in the next Walk for Hunger are asked to contact Hanna Bouchard at hbouchard@northernlight.org.
