Free Drive-Up Food Event February 26 at Sebasticook Valley Hospital

A free Drive-Up Food Event is happening Wednesday, February 26 and will start at 8 am while supplies last. The event is being held at the Dow Building parking lot at 425 North Main Street on the Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital campus in Pittsfield. Anyone can drive up and receive free, pre-bagged food and fresh produce. Staff will place food directly into your vehicle. 

The food drive is made possible from funds raised from the Pittsfield Business Consortium Walk for Meals event on September 8, 2024. Participating organizations from the walk included Danforth’s Down Home Supermarket, Kleinschmidt, Maine Central Institute, MSAD53, Sebasticook Valley Hospital, and United Insurance. Kleinschmidt and Sebasticook Valley Hospital have made an additional donation towards this food drive event.

The Pittsfield Business Consortium is a collaboration of area businesses that aim to give back to the community. Another walk to raise funds for meals is being scheduled in May 2025.
