Upcoming Living Well for Better Health Workshops Offered in May

Date: 04/12/2022

We will be offering two Living Well for Better Health Workshop series in May. These workshop series are one of the many classes included in the Healthy Living for ME network, which we are a Community Provider for.

Living Well for Better Health focuses on helping you manage your chronic diseases and symptoms and is taught by our trained staff. You will receive the tools and tips you need to manage your chronic conditions, live a healthier life, and take back control.

Two, six-week workshop options are available starting in May: in-person and virtual. Topics include: techniques to deal with frustration, fatigue, pain and isolation; appropriate exercise for maintaining and improving strength, flexibility, and endurance; appropriate use of medications; communicating effectively with family, friends, and health professionals; nutrition; and how to evaluate new treatments.

The in-person workshop series will be held at the 167 Leighton Building on the Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital campus Tuesdays from 9 to 11:30 am from May 10 through June 14. Register at www.healthylivingforme.org/classes/Register/813

The virtual work series will be held online on Thursdays from 1 to 3:30 pm starting May 12 through June 16. Register at www.healthylivingforme.org/classes/Register/814
