New Physician Joins Northern Light Primary Care - Pittsfield
We are pleased to welcome Victoria Davenport, DO, to our Northern Light Primary Care team in Pittsfield.
Dr. Davenport completed her medical degree at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia and her undergraduate at the University of Rhode Island, Kingston, Rhode Island. She completed her residencies in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine through Northern Light Health. She is board-certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Association.
She believes, “It’s important to get to know my patients and their goals. I treat our relationship like a partnership as so much of medicine is collaborative and joint decision making. I try to provide my patients with the education they need to understand their aliments and recommendations that are presented to them.”
Dr. Davenport has particular interests in the following:
- Within Family Medicine, I enjoy Adolescence Medicine, Pediatrics, Women’s Health, reproductive health, and Musculoskeletal Medicine.
Within Osteopathic Neuromuscular Medicine, I like treating concussions; pelvic floor dysfunction; TMJ, migraines; constipation; infants with difficulty nursing, plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome), and torticollis (twisted neck); athletic injuries; and postural imbalances.
