Holiday tree lighting celebrates loved ones and supports patient care
Date: 11/18/2022

One of the special ways Pittsfield rings in the holiday season is right around the corner!
Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital’s Lights of Life holiday tree lighting at Hathorn Park is set for Wednesday, December 7 at 7 pm.
Community members are invited to attend and enjoy hot cocoa and cookies, watch Santa arrive, and see the Lights of Life tree come to life at 7 pm. Join in person, watch it from the comfort of your vehicle, or enjoy a video of the tree lighting on the hospital’s Facebook page at 7:30 pm that evening.
The lights on the tree can be purchased to recognize friends, family members, caregivers, and others. Proceeds support care at Sebasticook Valley Hospital.
“We love being part of our community and this special event,” says Randy Clark, president of Sebasticook Valley Hospital. “Since 2019, Lights of Life has given people the chance to honor loved ones and healthcare providers. It’s a beautiful way to share gratitude, and the event is a wonderful way to bring our community together.”
Seven levels of recognition are available, beginning with white lights at $10 and culminating with the star at $1,000. The name of each individual being honored or remembered will be displayed on the Sebasticook Valley Hospital website throughout the holiday season. Lights of Life tribute forms can be downloaded by those who purchase lights to send to honorees.
