SVH Virtual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk Raises $5000+
We want to thank our amazing staff and community for helping us raise $5,305 during our month-long virtual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk in October. The pandemic forced us to move our community walk to a virtual event and our community rallied, with individuals and teams walking on their own time and at locations of their choosing. Some walked to honor lives lost to breast cancer, while others walked to help strengthen our prevention efforts.
Funds raised will help pay for mammograms for those who cannot afford them in our community.
While the virtual walk event was a fun way to contribute to breast cancer awareness, we certainly hope to be back walking as a group next year! Thanks again for your support!
