Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital is looking at new ways to streamline screening and testing. We have established a COVID test location in Pittsfield on the hospital campus at 167 Leighton Street. We are diligently working to set up a Drive-Up Test Site and a Screening Hotline process for Pittsfield to start on Monday, March 23 on the hospital campus. The new Drive-Up Test Site will replace the Leighton Street test location.
167 Leighton Street is open on Friday, March 20 from 8 am-7 pm and Saturday, March 21 from 7 am-Noon. It will be closed on Sunday.
Our new Drive-Up Test Site will be open Monday-Friday 9 am – 4 pm and Saturday from 9 am – 2 pm, closed on Sunday. We will share more information about how to access it, as well as how to use the Screening Hotline in the coming days.
Please understand: At this moment, in order to be tested, you need to have been screened for symptoms and get a lab collection order from your primary care provider. We are only able to test those who have a provider order (those who have been screened by their provider, and the provider recommends that they be tested because they have symptoms and meet the CDC testing criteria.)
Thank you for understanding this process as we work to stop the spread of COVID in our community. We are grateful for our community partners, including the Pittsfield police and fire departments.
If you have questions, please call your primary care provider’s office or the SVH Primary Care Call Center at 207.487.5154. Thank you.
