Warren A. Shearer, MD is vice president and senior physician executive of Northern Light Inland and Sebasticook Valley Hospitals.

Dr. Shearer serves as the liaison between medical staff and administration. In his leadership role, Dr. Shearer is passionate about improving the system and delivery of healthcare to patients in Maine.

In addition to his administrative roles, Dr. Shearer provides family medicine primary care services and outpatient dermatology services. As a strong believer that patients are a critical part of their own healthcare, Dr. Shearer works diligently to meet patients where they are at. He prides himself on being a good listener and working to take all of his patients’ desires, concerns, and limitations into consideration, while developing a plan that works for them within the scope of practicing excellent, evidence-based medicine.

Dr. Shearer came to Northern Light Health in 2024 after serving as medical director and a primary care physician in the Bangor region. He graduated from Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts and medical school from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia.
