Free Produce Pop-Up Markets return to Dover-Foxcroft

Northern Light Mayo Hospital, the University of Maine Cooperative Extension in Piscataquis County, and Highland Area Gleaners invite the community to attend a free Produce Pop-Up Market on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 11:30 am to 1 pm at Northern Light Mayo Hospital, 897 W. Main St., Dover-Foxcroft.

According to the Maine Shared Community Health Needs Assessment, nearly 17 percent of residents and 25 percent of youth in the region are food insecure. While individuals experiencing food insecurity are encouraged to attend, the market is open to anyone who would like fresh fruits and vegetables.

Attendees are asked to bring reusable bags to put their produce in, if available.

Food for the pop-up produce market is provided by the Piscataquis Regional Food Center.
