Northern Light Mercy Spine Surgery welcomes two new experts

Northern Light Mercy Spine Surgery is pleased to welcome Emma Pennock, PA-C, and Amber Schaub, PA-C, to its practice on Mercy Hospital’s campus on Fore River Parkway. 

Emma Pennock, PA-C, earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Bryant University after completing advanced training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, where she gained expertise in neurosurgery, neurointerventional radiology, and neurocritical care. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Global Environmental Studies and Psychology from Clark University and a Master of Science in Integrative Neuroscience from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

In addition to her clinical training, Emma has served as a flight PA with the Massachusetts Army National Guard and will continue to provide flight readiness and MEDEVAC provider support with the 3/126th Aviation Regiment in Maine. She has a particular interest in the surgical management of degenerative cervical and lumbar conditions.

Amber Schaub, PA-C, joins Northern Light Mercy Spine Surgery with 15 years of experience in vascular surgery and interventional cardiology. A board-certified physician assistant since 2009, she earned her Master of Health Science through Quinnipiac University after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northeastern University.
