Northern Light Mercy Hospital welcomes new gastroenterologist

Northern Light Mercy Hospital is pleased to announce that Shadi Saboori, MD has joined Northern Light Mercy Gastroenterology.

Dr. Saboori is a general gastroenterologist committed to providing patient-centered care. Her approach to healthcare emphasizes personalized treatment plans that cater to each patient's unique needs and concerns. She has interests in inflammatory bowel disease, colon cancer screening, eosinophilic esophagitis, celiac disease, and gastroesophageal reflux disease. 

Dr. Saboori received her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship at Carolinas Medical Center. She is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has a background in international public health research.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Saboori enjoys reading, playing board games, traveling, and exploring the beautiful Maine outdoors with her family.
