Mercy named to Newsweek’s “Best Hospitals” list
Northern Light Mercy Hospital has been named to Newsweek’s Best Hospitals list
. Newsweek’s new hospital rankings are based on patient satisfaction, surveys of health care professionals, and safety and quality measures.
“The expert, compassionate focus that our employees place on each of our patients is truly at the heart of this recognition,” said Charlie Therrien, president of Mercy Hospital. “They work incredibly hard to ensure that all who come through our doors receive the highest quality care.”
This recognition for Mercy follow’s last month’s announcement that it retained its top score of five stars in the updated hospital quality ratings issued by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Mercy was also named a top hospital in Maine by U.S. News and World Report.
