Dr. Corrie Anderson joins women’s health practice at Mercy
“We are excited to welcome Dr. Anderson to Mercy,” said Charlie Therrien, president of Mercy Hospital. “She joins a practice that provides a full range of women’s health services, including maternity care and family-centered deliveries at Mercy’s Birthplace. From routine medical screenings to welcoming your child into the world, Dr. Anderson is a great addition to the care team at All About Women.”
Dr. Anderson became interested in medicine while accompanying her grandparents on medical missions to Guatemala as a teenager. She received her bachelor’s degree from Grove City College in Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts. She received her medical degree from the University of New England’s College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Rochester, where she received awards for humanism, leadership, and minimally invasive surgery. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, gardening, skiing, baking, and exploring the Maine coast with her husband and son.
