Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital welcomes new cardiologist

Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital welcomes Zachary Trzaska, MD to its cardiology practice in Ellsworth.

A graduate of the St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine, Dr. Trzaska subsequently completed his residency and fellowship at Maine Medical Center. After practicing at Waldo Hospital, he has spent the last five years at Southern Maine Health Care Cardiology.  With several years of experience in a high-volume, high-acuity practice, Dr. Trzaska looks forward to practicing general cardiology in a more rural community. “Getting to know and building a relationship with my patients is something that has become quite important to me,” Dr. Trzaska shares. “The communities in Hancock and Washington Counties deserve access to excellent noninvasive cardiology services, and I am proud to join the team of primary care and specialty providers who are doing just that.”   

Recently relocating to the Camden area with his wife and three children, the Trzaskas love Midcoast and DownEast Maine and all the activities and opportunities the area offers their family.
Northern Light Cardiology in Blue Hill and Ellsworth offer comprehensive cardiovascular evaluations, diagnoses, services, and treatments. When surgical intervention is necessary, seamless referrals are made to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center.
