Welcome Steven LeClair, AGACNP-BC, Nurse Practitioner, to Northern Light Gastroenterology

Northern Light Gastroenterology is proud to welcome Steven LeClair, AGACNP-BC, nurse practitioner. Steven joined our teams in our Waterville and Pittsfield practices, seeing patients in both locations in the Medical Arts Building at Northern Light Inland Hospital in Waterville and at the Dow Building at Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield.
Steven is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and is also board-certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. He has an associate degree in nursing from the Maine College of Health Professions in Lewiston and his bachelor and master degrees in nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as well as a bachelor of science in biology from St. Joseph’s College in Standish, Maine.
Steven provides treatment and medical management of:
- Liver and digestive issues
- Hepatology
- Dysmotility
- Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
- Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
Steven says, “I empathize with my patients as I have had GI issues in the past and understand how frustrating it can be to navigate the healthcare system. Our goal is to guide patients through the care experience. I have lived in Maine my whole life and grew up in these communities; these patients are my community members, and we must look out for each other .”
