Thornton Named Interim VP of Operations

Tyson Thornton, PharmD, FACHE, has been named as Northern Light Inland Hospital’s interim vice president of Operations. Previously, Tyson was associate vice president of Therapeutics and Support Services at Inland Hospital, while also serving as VP of Operations for Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital, a role he will continue. 
 
Tricia Costigan, president, shared, “He always puts the safety of our patients and staff first and is an effective leader. We want to thank Tyson for continuing in this interim operational leadership role at Inland, which includes responsibility for pharmacy, outpatient infusion services, food services/dietary, facilities, real estate, safety, security, emergency preparedness, environmental services, and materials management.”
 
Thornton has been with Northern Light Health since 2008, starting as a staff pharmacist with Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, then taking on a leadership role with Sebasticook Valley Hospital in 2012 and with Inland Hospital earlier this year.
