Farewell to Our Retiring President

We want to wish Terri Vieira, Inland/Lakewood president, all the best as she heads into retirement later today. Terri’s healthcare career has spanned 49 years; 22 with Northern Light Health where she has been a strong advocate for making healthcare work for patients in central Maine. We will miss her wisdom, compassion, humor, and thank her for her commitment to our staff and their development. Congratulations on your well-deserved retirement Terri! 

We are proud to share that Rick Barry will serve as Inland Hospital and Continuing Care, Lakewood’s interim president until Terri’s successor is named and starts in late April/May. Rick has been Inland’s vice president of Nursing and Patient Care Services for the past 15 years and is responsible for most clinical areas. He is a knowledgeable and consistent leader who is dedicated to our staff and enhancing access to care. Rick is well known and engaged in the Waterville community. We are pleased to have him lead us through this transition.
