You choose your birthing experience at Northern Light Inland Hospital. We encourage you to listen to your body and be as active as you want to be during labor — you can take a walk, or relax in a private whirlpool bath, which can help improve circulation for you and your baby. Massage, therapeutic touch, and visualization techniques are also encouraged. Additionally, you can eat when you’d like to from the scrumptious choices on our room service menu.

It’s up to you to decide how much (or how little) pain medication you want during labor. Should you decide you want an epidural for pain relief, a highly trained Inland Hospital anesthesiologist is available to help — no matter what time of day or night.
