Price Transparency

The Maine price transparency law requires Home Care & Hospice to publish a list of their charges, for frequently provided services. Health care organizations bill for services using current procedural terminology (CPT) and the Healthcare Common Procedure Code System (HCPCS), which is a listing of descriptive terms and identifying codes for reporting medical services and procedures developed by the American Medical Association. This terminology provides a uniform language to accurately describe medical, surgical, and diagnostic services, providing an effective way for reliable, nationwide communication among physicians, patients, and third parties, however not all items and services have a corresponding CPT/HCPCS codes.  

This file contains Home Care and Hospice’s standard charges for any services that were provided 50 or more times in the last calendar year. To get an estimate of expected costs for a specific service, please contact a financial counselor in the Agency Billing Department at 1-800-757-3326.
