Fox ABC Maine article: Working through the cold

With the first frigid blast of the season last week, Anthony Pastore, DO, chief medical officer for Northern Light Home Care & Hospice, had the opportunity to share some tips on cold safety with FOX ABC Maine.

"The cold weather can have particular impacts on a lot of chronic medical conditions as well as create some acute concerns that every adult should look out for, particularly those of advanced age," says Dr. Pastore. "I think more than anything, sometimes the winter can lead to social isolation and really just making sure that we're checking in on our loved ones, on our neighbors."
