Christine Turner

Associate Vice President of Hospice Care at Northern Light Home Care & Hospice

Christine Turner, RN MA CHPCA is the associate vice president of Hospice Care at Northern Light Home Care & Hospice. 

Christine is responsible for hospice operations statewide and is passionate about providing compassionate and appropriate access to end-of-life care for all who need it in the state of Maine. Christine found her way to hospice looking for a way to combine her love for community-based care, with her counseling degree. Christine continues to work with her teams of hospice staff around the state to ensure they are providing the best patient-centered care.

Christine is a member of the Organization of Maine Nurse Executives, a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a member of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA) and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO).   She previously served on the NHPCO regulatory committee for two years and was a founding member of the local HPNA chapter here in Maine. 

Prior to joining Northern Light Home Care & Hospice in 2008, she served in a variety of home care and hospice agencies throughout the country. Her professional experience includes more than 25 years of middle clinical management in community settings. 

In her spare time Christine loves to travel and has made multiple mission trips to Mission of Love Community Orphanage in Mukamba, Zambia.

Christine became the associate vice president of Hospice Care at Northern Light Home Care & Hospice in 2020.
