Northern Light Surgical Weight Loss has earned the prestigious distinction of Surgical Quality Partner (SQP) from the American College of Surgeons (ACS)'s Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) for the years 2025-2028.
This designation signifies a commitment to meeting rigorous national standards for patient safety and quality of care, with a focus on minimizing complications and improving surgical outcomes through continuous self-improvement. Northern Light Surgical Weight Loss is one of the first surgery and weight loss centers in the country to offer robotically assisted surgical weight loss for appropriate surgical candidates and has become a national and worldwide leader and resource for this technique. “We are constantly working to adapt and grow our program to the needs of our community.
