"This season, as we mark the 25
th anniversary of
Lights of Life, we’re not just lighting a tree—we’re honoring the quiet strength of those currently battling illness, those who carry the burden of loss, and the selfless dedication of caregivers,” says
Ava Collins, MHA, FACHE, president, Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center.
Lights of Life donations help patients with essential needs including travel, lodging, and nutrition support. “Each light symbolizes more than a memory; it represents the compassionate care that has guided countless patients and families through their most challenging times,” continues Collins. “Community support shines far beyond the season, helping Eastern Maine Medical Center continue its mission of healing, comfort, and service to the community.”
