A Blizzard in July? Miracle Treat Day returns Thursday, July 25
A blizzard in July may not be in the forecast, but Dairy Queen is hosting a special fundraiser to benefit Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, a member of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, on Thursday, July 25 that calls for plenty of Blizzards to be sold.
Dairy Queen is celebrating its annual
Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, July 25. On Thursday, participating Dairy Queen restaurants throughout the area will donate a $1 or more from the sale of every Blizzard treat to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. The funds help ensure Maine kids and families will continue to have access to the specialized, high-quality care they deserve for years to come.
Dairy Queen locations in Bangor, Belfast, Brewer, Ellsworth, and Old Town are participating in Miracle Treat Day. Be sure to stop and get a Blizzard for the kids!
Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is the only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital north of Portland. Dairy Queen has partnered with the national non-profit for 39 years, and during that time locations across the United States and Canada have raised more than $175 million – more than $2 million coming from Miracle Treat Day - for local children’s hospitals. Every penny of the money donated supports each restaurant’s local children’s hospital.
