Lights of Life Tree Lighting Honors and Remembers Those Affected by Cancer
Grateful patients, community members, and caregivers will gather on Thursday, December 6 to light up the Lafayette Family Cancer Institute’s holiday tree and remember loved one who have been affected by cancer. The eighteenth annual celebration will feature carolers from Brewer High School, holiday-themed refreshments, and the inspirational tree lighting ceremony.
Lights are available for purchase to honor or remember friends, family members, caregivers, and others affected by cancer. Five levels of recognition are available, beginning with white lights at $10 and culminating with constellations at $500. The name of each person honored or remembered will be displayed at the event and will remain in the Lafayette Family Cancer Institute lobby through the holiday season.
Supporters will gather at 5 pm and the program will begin at 5:30 pm at 33 Whiting Hill Road in Brewer. Music and brief remarks will be followed by the tree lighting.
