What attracted you to EMMC: Growing up in the northeast, I wanted to stay on the east coast within driving distance to family and friends. Completing APPE rotations at smaller hospitals from a 25-bed critical access hospital to a 65-bed military hospital to 94-bed community hospital, I wanted to experience a larger institution but had some apprehension of transitioning to a significantly larger facility. When researching and interviewing, the support of the preceptors and staff was evident as well as their passion for the residency program. I am excited to join the NLEMMC team and develop clinical skills and valuable experiences over the next year!
