Northern Light Primary Care, Stonington to host preventive health screenings during Island Winterfest

Northern Light Primary Care, Stonington will host preventive health screenings on Saturday, January 17 from 7-9 am at the Northern Light Health Center, 354 Airport Road in Stonington.

Attendees will have access to a range of health services including height/weight checks, blood pressure checks, blood sugar/glucose checks, cholesterol screenings, smoking/substance use assessments, hearting tests, vision tests, and more. Participants will have an opportunity to meet with a primary care provider on site to discuss their screening results.

There is no cost for the screenings, and an appointment is not necessary. All adults are welcome to attend.

“In past years this event has focused on men’s health, but this year, we’re opening it up to all adults as part of our effort to remove barriers to care and help our community stay healthy,” says Heather Parker, practice manager, Primary Care, Stonington. “Preventive screenings are an important part of maintaining a healthy life, and we’re proud to offer these services.”
