Ted Logan, MD named medical director for Adult Outpatient Services at Acadia

Northern Light Acadia is pleased to announce the appointment of Theodore "Ted" Logan, MD, as

medical director for Adult Outpatient Services. In his new role, Dr. Logan will oversee and ensure the quality of Acadia's adult outpatient services, including adult medication management, adult therapy, Addiction Care, and the brain stimulation therapy program.
Dr. Logan most recently served as the chair for the Department of Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine at MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport. He was also the medical director for their Psychiatry and Addiction Recovery Center (PARC). Dr. Logan has been an attending psychiatrist for Maine Behavioral Health Care since 2014.
Previous appointments include medical director for Discovery House Comprehensive Treatment Centers in Penobscot and Washington counties, and at Acadia for Child and Adolescent Psychopharmacology. Dr. Logan has also served as a general psychiatrist for Acadia's child, adolescent, and adult inpatient units.
Dr. Logan is board-certified and a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, the American Board of Preventive Medicine - Addiction Medicine, the American Board of Addiction Medicine, and the American Board of Pediatrics. Additionally, he holds a formal fellowship in Medical Education.

Dr. Logan assumed his new role on March 30.
