The Maine Initiative for Neurologic Aging & Health (MAINAH) is a statewide interest group for research in healthy brain aging, memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease, and related cognitive disorders.

Our fifth annual webinar will bring together members of MAINAH, the community, and leading brain health professionals for an update on current work in Maine and the possible role you can play in advancing research, and new information on healthy brain aging.

Join us for a fascinating and informative discussion on topics related to brain aging. Our host, Cliff Singer, MD, DFAPA, AGSF, director of Northern Light Memory and Aging at Acadia Hospital, will discuss sleep and brain health, and he will also mention new study opportunities for MAINAH participants. Special guest Marissa Romano, MPH will provide an overview of Maine CDC’s Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD) Prevention and Support Program and the state’s work through the U.S. CDC BOLD Public Health grant. Topics will include Maine’s public health approach to brain health, dementia risk reduction, early detection, caregiver support, and cross-sector partnerships that are helping communities better support people living with dementia and their families.

There will be time for questions, so please join us and take part in the conversation! For the link to join this free event, please email mainah@northernlight.org.
