Warren Black, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Warren Black, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a member of the Northern Light Acadia Consult Team, providing expert psychiatric consultations to patients in Emergency Departments across Maine.

After earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi, Warren went on to receive his Master’s degree PMHNP certification from Vanderbilt University.

He credits literary works by M. Scott Peck, Victor Frankl, and Oliver Sacks as his inspiration in deciding to pursue a career in the field of psychiatry.

In his spare time, Warren enjoys writing and recording music, selling sailboats, and not long ago learned to play hockey. He also enjoys attending his children’s sporting events.

A fun fact about Warren: he has had the pleasure of meeting musical legends Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris, and Robert Plant!
