Integrated Transfer Center

The Northern Light Transfer Center is designed to assist you in accessing all Northern Light inpatient facilities for urgent patient evaluation, admission, or transfer 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Your single call to 207-973-9000 will connect you with an experienced registered nurse who will: 

• Facilitate your communication with our physicians
• Assure quality through recorded conversations
• Arrange for an appropriate bed assignment
• Expedite critical care transport, if needed
• Keep you and/or your staff updated regarding arrangements for your patient

Please make sure to have the following information available when you call:

• Referring location
• Referring provider name and phone number for call back
• Patient's demographic information
• Patient's clinical information

Based on specialty designed protocols, our transfer center staff will connect you with the appropriate provider at a Northern Light Health hospital.

Important: Please follow current practice to access the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
