About one in eight men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, and it is the second leading cause of cancer death in American men. However, early detection through screenings can catch prostate cancer before symptoms develop and can also make treatment easier. In this interview, Krishna Bhatta, MD, Urologist and Chief of Urology for Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, shares the importance of screenings, the signs to watch out for with this commonly diagnosed cancer, and what men can expect for treatment.
