WATCHMAN Guides You On A Long and Happy Journey

WATCHMAN is an approach to Atrial Fibrillation (Afib) that is an alternative to lifelong use of blood thinners, if your Afib is not caused by a heart valve problem (“non-valvular Afib”). With WATCHMAN, people can feel free to go about their lives, travel, and do things they would normally do.

WATCHMAN is a permanent implant placed in the heart through a minimally invasive procedure. Done once, it lasts a lifetime and effectively reduces risks of a stroke without potential bleeding that can come with long-term use of some blood thinners.

Imagine being able to take a trip anywhere and be secure in knowing your heart is up to it. That’s what Raymond Sirois of Fort Kent, Maine did. He shares his experience in this video, which we took after he returned from Florida. Did we mention this; he and his wife drove there and back!

Living in rural Maine, it’s important for Raymond to know that his Afib is under control, leaving him free to work and travel as he would like to.
